History
Phaselis is a Lycian city with three harbors, founded by colonists from Rhodes in the 7th century BC. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List, under "Ancient Cities of Lycian Civilization," since 2009.
Remains
The city preserves the remains of Hadrian's Gate, a theatre and baths.
