History
Hıdırlık Tower was originally built as a square structure in the Roman period, in the 2nd century AD, and later converted into a cylindrical tower. It is thought to have served as a lighthouse or watchtower.
Architecture
Standing 14 meters tall, the tower sits at the southwestern corner of Karaalioğlu Park, right by the sea.
