History
The museum occupies two registered historic buildings in Kaleiçi and opened to visitors as a private museum after a restoration completed between 1993 and 1995.
Collection
One building is a traditional 19th-century Antalya house housing an ethnography exhibition; the other is the Aya Yorgi Church, restored in 1863, which holds a collection of Çanakkale ceramics.
