History
Yivli Minare was built during the reign of Anatolian Seljuk ruler Alaeddin Keykubad I, between 1220 and 1237. It is regarded as one of the first Islamic structures in Antalya and remains one of the city's most recognized landmarks.
Architecture
The minaret stands 38 meters tall, built of brick and clad in turquoise tiles in a fluted (yivli), eight-sided body that sets it apart from other Seljuk minarets. It has been on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List since 2016.
